1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BlockWorld, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Use of Service

BlockWorld is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools to abuse or overload the service

4. Multiplayer Rooms

Room hosts are responsible for content within their rooms. BlockWorld is not responsible for user-generated content. Room codes are generated using cryptographic randomness and must not be shared publicly in contexts that could expose other players to harm.

5. Intellectual Property

All BlockWorld branding, design, code, and original content are the intellectual property of their respective creators. User-generated content (blocks, builds) remains the property of the user who created it.

6. Service Availability

BlockWorld is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the service and may modify or discontinue the service at any time.

7. Rate Limiting

To ensure fair access and prevent abuse, requests are rate-limited to 30 per minute per IP address. Attempting to circumvent rate limits may result in temporary suspension.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlockWorld and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.

1. Information We Collect

BlockWorld collects the following information during your session:

• Username — the name you choose when entering the game
• Player color preference — your chosen display color
• IP address — collected automatically for rate limiting and abuse prevention
• Session activity — block placements, movements, and chat messages within active game sessions

2. How We Use Information

Information collected is used solely to:

• Operate and synchronize multiplayer game sessions
• Enforce rate limiting and prevent service abuse
• Display your username and color to other players in the same room

3. Data Retention

Session data is held in memory only for the duration of the game session. When a room is closed or becomes empty, all associated data is permanently deleted. No data is written to disk or retained after the session ends.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. Your username and chosen color are visible to other players in your room, which you acknowledge and accept by joining a room.

5. Cookies

BlockWorld does not use cookies or any persistent tracking technologies.

6. Children's Privacy

BlockWorld is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this service.

7. Security

We use cryptographically secure random codes for room access and implement rate limiting to prevent abuse. However, no internet-based service can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of BlockWorld after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
